Unequal Tees

Unequal Tees

Unequal tees, also known as reducing tees, are three-way glass pipeline fittings in which one or more ports differ in nominal diameter (DN). They are used to branch or combine flows of different sizes within a pipeline while maintaining smooth transitions and controlled flow behavior.

Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3, unequal tees provide excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability, and full transparency, making them ideal for laboratory, pilot-scale, and industrial glass piping systems.

Unequal tees are designed with a main run of one DN and a branch of a smaller or larger DN, allowing connection between pipelines of different sizes without the need for separate reducers. This compact design reduces joint count, minimizes pressure losses, and simplifies system layout.

They integrate seamlessly with other pipeline components such as pipe sections, bends, reducers, and crosses, and are suitable for vacuum applications.
