Glass Reactor With Metal Jacket

The Glass Reactor with Metal Jacket combines the chemical resistance and visibility of borosilicate glass with the superior thermal efficiency and mechanical strength of a metal jacket. This hybrid design allows precise heating and cooling using circulating thermal fluids while maintaining full visual observation of the reaction process.

Unlike conventional glass-jacketed reactors, the metal jacket enables faster heat transfer, higher pressure tolerance, and improved insulation, making it ideal for exothermic, endothermic, cryogenic, and mixed reaction–distillation processes. The system is extensively used in R&D laboratories, kilo labs, pilot plants, and small production units across chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Capacities typically range from 5 L to 200 L (extendable up to 500 L), with temperature capability from –50 °C to +200 °C and vacuum to slight positive pressure operation.
