Support fittings (designated as SPT series) are used to provide auxiliary, lateral, or secondary support connections from a main structural tube. These fittings allow side arms, brackets, or small support members to be attached without imposing excessive load on the primary structural or glass-handling framework.
The fitting slides over the main galvanized tube and is locked in position using grub screws, allowing flexible positioning along the tube length. A perpendicular support arm or rod is accommodated through the defined d-diameter port, enabling attachment of instrumentation, piping clamps, cable trays, or light structural members.
Support fittings are widely used in glass plant support structures, laboratory frames, and process equipment installations, where modular adjustability and controlled load transfer are required.

Functional Role in Structural Systems
Support fittings are designed to offload secondary or non-axial loads from the main frame. Instead of stressing primary structural members, these fittings provide a controlled interface for:
Their modular nature allows easy repositioning, making them suitable for evolving plant layouts.
