Agitated Nutsche Filter (ANF / ANFD) – Laboratory & Pilot-Scale Glass Units
Agitated Glass Nutsche Filters are advanced laboratory and pilot-scale units designed for efficient solid-liquid separation, vacuum filtration, and drying. Widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, herbal, food, and cosmetic industries, these units combine high process visibility, inert construction, and compact modular design for reliable, scalable operations.
Product Overview
The Agitated Nutsche Filter (ANF) and Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryer (ANFD) integrate filtration, washing, and drying in a single compact vessel. Slurry is poured into the unit, solids are retained as a filter cake, and filtrate exits via a bottom outlet valve. After processing, the cake can be removed safely.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1: Can the ANF/ANFD handle corrosive chemicals?
Yes, all wetted parts are made from borosilicate glass and PTFE, resistant to acids, bases, and most organic solvents.
Q2: What is the maximum temperature the filter can operate at?
The unit can safely handle up to 180°C, depending on the configuration and solvent.
Q3: Is automation available for these filters?
Yes, optional motorized agitation, automated vacuum control, and heat jackets are available.
Q4: How is the filter cake removed?
The bottom outlet valve allows easy discharge; motorized agitators can also aid in cake release.
Q5: What capacities are offered?
non-jacketed units: up to 600 L | Jacketed units: 5–500 L. Custom capacities can also be designed.
