3. Reflux Distribution – The condensed solvent is collected in the reflux divider and directed into the extraction vessel through strategically placed valves.

4. Selective Extraction – The solvent interacts with the target component in the liquid mixture, selectively dissolving it while leaving the undesired components behind

5. Phase Separation – The extracted solution returns to the reboiler, and the cycle continues until complete extraction is achieved

6. Solvent Recovery & Final Separation – The extraction vessel is drained, and the solvent is evaporated in the reboiler vessel, allowing for complete separation and collection of the extracted liquid.
